Circa Early 18th Century Meiji Period Clothing Tansu

A very nice and large Japanese Meiji Period clothing tansu. Made in two stacking parts. The decorative iron hardware appears to be original. This piece has a “safe” with a hidden drawer. There is a worn medallion made of leather mounted on this door.
